Anthropic Launches Claude Design for Visual Workflows

Anthropic Labs launched Claude Design, an experimental product for collaborating with Claude on visual work such as designs, prototypes, slides and one-pagers. It brought the company's agent work into a category often served by separate design and presentation tools.

The product was another sign that AI labs were using Labs-style releases to test vertical workflows, not just ship general chat improvements. The practical test for teams was whether the assistant could preserve intent across visual iterations while keeping a human in control of the final artifact.
